(That's peanut butter, in case you couldn't tell).
Long story very short: we had a serious peanut butter scare today. The victim - Sara - is much better now, thanks to the good care she received from her doctor and a small team of nurses. Things could have been much, much worse, and I'm so very thankful they weren't, but I've had my fill of scare for a while.
Amidst all of the chaos and concern today, my mom missed her flight back to MN and she now gets to stay until Thursday. Lucky us!

Oh, Katie. I'm so sorry to read your post. Peanut allergies are scary. Poor Sara. Yeah for extra time with Grandma Wicklander!
Yikes! So sorry to hear about this, but glad things turned out okay! Ben is allergic to peanuts too, but we are lucky we haven't had a larger reaction than hives. I'm so perplexed about the rise in these kind of allergies in kids!
Oh my gosh! I am glad she is feeling better, but I can't imagine how terrified you must have been.
